Educational Background:

My pursuit of knowledge began with a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in Information Systems and Quantitative Sciences, a foundation that provided me with a solid grasp of the intricacies of systems, numbers, and the intersection between the two. Further fueling my passion for the power of data, I attained a master’s degree in Data Science. This specialization honed my skills in big data, analytics, and the art of transforming raw information into actionable insights.

Professional Life:

At the heart of my career, I currently hold the position of Data Engineer II, where I architect, manage, and optimize data processes. My role seamlessly integrates with my responsibilities in building out the cloud infrastructure for the esteemed Principal Financial Group. Constructing efficient, scalable, and secure systems to power significant financial undertakings gives me both challenge and fulfillment.

Beyond The Screen:

While data is a significant part of my life, it isn’t all I’m about. I have a soft spot for neural networks – not just within my professional realm, but as a hobby. It’s fascinating to me how we can emulate the human brain’s intricate processes using technology.

The vast ocean beckons me for shark cage diving, an adrenaline-infused, experience that brings me closer to nature’s mightiest creatures. In contrast, paddleboarding offers me moments of tranquility, becoming one with the calm waters.

Austin, with its vibrant pulse, is my home and playground. Its rich cultural scene, delectable culinary offerings, and myriad of attractions ensure that there’s always an adventure waiting around the corner.

Physical fitness is also close to my heart. Regular visits to the gym help me enhance my physique and maintain a calm mental headspace being in a role that never fails to surprise me daily!
